To say I'm not obsessed with neutral colours and brown, would be a lie!!!

I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED with photographing neutral colours. 

So of course, whenever someone asks "What should we WEAR to our Session"; this is my answer.

1. Always choose Solid Colours (One or two people in a subtle floral pattern or Only one person in a plaid)

2. Neutral colours keep anyones skin tones beautiful during editing. Browns, Tans, Taupe, Grey, Ivory, White. All these neutrals with always photograph perfectly together. (Jean with all these colours ia also acceptable.)

3. If you are keen on colour, please feel free to add ONE colours (two colours are ok if they are cohesive) to mix in with your Neutral Tones. Best colours to choose would be pastels, dusty or muted colours; such as dusty pink or olive green etc. NO BOLD COLOURS ie Red.

Some colour coordinating examples for you:

- Tan, Cream and Dusty Rose.

- Brown, White and pale blue or Jeans.

- 2 shades of Brown and Mustard.

- Grey, White and Navy.

- Black(just a little black), Browns, tan and white.

- Tan, Brown, white and Lavender. 

- White, Lighter Blue and Jeans is awesome at the beach.

- Tan, Forest Green and white

- Brown, Cream and Olive Green.

- White, Tan & Navy.

4. Layering is awesome and can add more depth to your photos. So feel free to put a cardigan on the kids, or bring a paper boy hat for dad, or a rancher hat for mom.

5. I do encourage you to bring a blanket or throw that matches your outfits. I usually have one with me, but sometimes you can choose one that matches the outfits perfectly. 

6. When in doubt, feel free to email me your outfit selections. I would be delighted to help with your selections.

We love photographing couples and families in a quiet, natural setting. Especially in the later part of the day, when the sun is closer to setting. We aim to provide you with a relaxed experience that will provide you with some posed(looking at the camera photos) and very candid images. We direct you within a 'pose', in a way that will have you interacting with each other. This provides real interactions and expressions.
